The American Legion Colonel Billie J. Holmes Memorial Post 331 Scholarship​

Dear Scholarship Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in attaining a scholarship from American Legion Post 331.

American Legion Post 331 established this financial aid program to assist worthy students from Indiana High Schools and Indiana Secondary/Post High Schools attain their educational objectives, and to contribute to the development of an informed citizenry. It is in the tradition of The American Legion that we demonstrate our commitment to community, state and nation through our efforts on behalf of young people.

As the child or grandchild of a Legionnaire, who is an active member of American Legion Post 331, you no doubt appreciate the price paid for our liberty and our way of life. Not all are called to serve, but all are called to participate in the processes by which our republic is maintained. We hope those students who receive a scholarship from American Legion Post 331 will embrace the responsibilities of citizenship and repay it many times over in service to others.

Please complete the attached application and submit it to American Legion Post 331 no later than close of business on May 1, 2024.

The American Legion Auxiliary Post 331 Scholarship

Applications can be found in the Auxiliary Mailbox behind the bar.

Ask a Bartender for a copy. 

Deadline is May 1st, 2024.

"Eligibility is open to children, grandchildren, great-grand children or legally adopted children of current paid American Legion Auxiliary Unit 331 members in good standing; and children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren or legally adopted children of members who are deceased and who at the time of their death were paid members in good standing. If living, this member must sign the application or it is disqualified."
