The Game:
The Race for Riches! Game raffle board has sealed opaque envelopes containing the class elimination tags. The tags have symbols that correspond to a payout value displayed near the board. Each envelope is identified by an Elimination number 1 through 54. The board is prepared by 3 operators that stuff the envelopes with the tags after a blind shuffle, perform a blind shuffle of the envelopes and then number the envelopes 1 thru 54. The Elimination numbers taken/available will be posted by noon on the Saturday after the drawing.
Special rolls of single tickets are purchased by the post for use in this game. They are printed with checkered Flags and “Race for Riches” on the face. We will use different colors of tickets each week. For auditing purposes, ticket sales will be tracked weekly by ticket number. A report will be issued to the Post Gaming Chairman or Commander regarding any discrepancy between ticket numbers and cash received.

General Rules of the Game
The amount of the Race for Riches! Jackpot will be prominently posted at the Post no later than 1:00 PM on the Friday preceding the drawing.
The Race for Riches! Game begins by selling numbered tickets on the game during the week. The tickets sold will be placed in a designated container for safe keeping until the night of the drawing. Ticket sales will end at 8:00 PM on Friday night. All tickets sold during the week will be placed in the drawing container. At about 8:10 PM, a ticket will be drawn from the tumbler and the envelope marked with the Elimination number selected will be drawn from the board and the prize determined. The Post will retain a “Post Cut” of the money from ticket sales as required by Indiana Charity Gaming rules. The cut is 20%. The remaining amount will be placed in the payout pool. The initial payouts include the “Jackpot” (starting at $3,331), and secondary prizes #1 through #6; 2 each @ $150, 4 each @ $100, 5 each @ $75, 10 each @ $50, 12 each @ $25, 20 each @ $10.

One winner will be paid out each week until the Jackpot is hit. All prizes are calculated and recorded on the Race for Riches calculation spread sheet and stored in the Race for Riches! binder.
There will be a cash winner each week. If the winner is not present at the time of the drawing then 20% of the payout will be kept in the pool.
